MR. MORRISON ABU MORO
Board Chairman
Mr. Morrison Abu Moro is a Ghanaian educationist, administrator, legal professional, and youth development advocate with extensive experience in leadership, operations management, and sports development. He has dedicated his career to empowering young people through education, mentorship, and structured talent development initiatives.
He is also the Chief Executive Director of the National Council for Children and Youth Development (NaCCYD), where he leads strategic programs focused on youth empowerment, leadership development, and educational advancement across Ghana. In this role, he collaborates with government institutions, development partners, and community stakeholders to design and implement impactful policies and programs that support children and young people.
He has also served as a Master Trainer under the USAID/Opportunity International APIL Project, training educators and supporting educational improvement initiatives, particularly in underserved communities. As part of this engagement, he contributed as a member of a Technical Working Committee under the Ministry of Education and the USAID Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Team.
Academically, completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from KAAF University College, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Cape Coast, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Diploma in Project Management from the Institute of Commercial Management, London.
Mr. Morrison Abu Moro continues to play a significant role in advancing education and youth development in Ghana, driven by a vision to create opportunities, inspire leadership, and transform lives.

ESTHER QUIST WOOD
Vice Chair Person
Mrs. Esther Quist Wood is a distinguished educationist, accomplished school proprietor, entrepreneur, and experienced administrator with an outstanding record in the management and administration of schools in Ghana. She is widely recognized for her dedication to educational development, institutional leadership, and youth empowerment.
She served as a Presidential Nominee on the Governing Council of Kibi Presbyterian College of Education, where she contributes her vast experience and expertise toward policy direction, educational governance, and institutional growth.
Academically, she is a graduate of Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and University of Education, Winneba (UEW), where she acquired strong professional foundations in administration, management, and education.
Beyond her educational achievements, Mrs. Esther Quist Wood is a successful business owner and entrepreneur known for her visionary leadership, management skills, and commitment to excellence. Her rich history in educational management and administration continues to make her an influential figure within Ghana’s educational sector and national development initiatives.

rev. ISAAC DUNEE
Board Member
An Educationist for over four decades in the public sector and three decades in the private education sector. A retired Social and Development Practitioner with World Vision Ghana for decades. Rev isaac Dunee has an extensive expertise in Development Planning, Implementation and Development. He’s also an Expert in Management, Administration and Leadership having acquired Executive trainings at GIMPA, Accra. He’s also a Minister of God with the Deeper Christian Life Ministry and has planted a number of churches to the glory of God.
Rev. Isaac Dunee is currently CEO of his private school at Nadowli in the Upper West Region of Ghana.

Panpanayere Kwame Eric Lulu

Mr. Panpanayere Kwame Eric Lulu is a multifaceted Ghanaian professional with significant contributions to education, agriculture, and social development. He is the owner of private schools in Ghana and currently serves as the Director General of the Coalition of Private Schools in Ghana (COPSIG), where he advocates for the interests of private school stakeholders. His leadership focuses on enhancing policies to ensure the growth and sustainability of private education in the country. Beyond education, Mr. Lulu is an agricultural consultant and farmer, offering expertise on modern farming practices and agribusiness to foster self-reliance among local farmers. Additionally, he is a Christian pastor committed to moral education and spiritual development, emphasizing values such as hard work and discipline. As a social commentator on Dero FM, he addresses critical issues regarding education, agriculture, and societal growth, contributing to public discourse in Ghana. His extensive experience and dedication make him a respected figure in his fields.

Mary Dagbah
Board Member
Ms. Mary Dagbah is a seasoned professional in civic education and public administration, boasting nearly 30 years of experience in democratic governance, civic engagement, and institutional administration within Ghana’s public sector. As the Municipal Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in Ga Central Municipality, she leads the planning and implementation of civic education initiatives to foster constitutional democracy, national cohesion, peacebuilding, and responsible citizenship. Throughout her career at the NCCE, she has progressed through various roles, including District Director and Assistant Director, amassing a wealth of experience in public education, stakeholder engagement, and programme management.
Ms. Dagbah holds an Executive Master’s in Human Rights, Conflict and Peace Studies, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Human Resource Management), and a Higher National Diploma in Secretaryship and Management Studies. Her education, complemented by attendance at several professional development programmes, has deepened her expertise in child rights advocacy, gender equality, electoral governance, and responsible communication.
Recognized for her leadership, integrity, and communication skills, she advocates for civic responsibility and citizen participation through innovative education programmes and strategic partnerships. Proficient in English, Ewe, Twi, and Ga, Ms. Dagbah effectively engages diverse communities across Ghana, continuing her commitment to public service and democratic accountability.

REV. NELSON AHO
Board Member
Rev. Nelson Aho serves as the Director of Partnership and Operations at the Coalition of Private Schools in Ghana (COPSIG) and is the Chief Executive Director and Board Secretary at Aid a Child Ghana. Born on November 5, 1975, he holds a Diploma in Theology from the Evangelical College of Theology in Ghana. Rev. Aho’s expertise includes Empowered Worldview (EWV), Mental Health Psychosocial Support, Advocacy against Gender-Based Violence, and various child protection and health initiatives related to HIV/AIDS and COVID-19. He founded Galilean Prayer Ministry and the proprietor of First Choice International School Ghana in Atebubu, which provides free education for vulnerable children. Additionally, he acts as vice secretary of the Atebubu Local Council of Churches and is the country coordinator for Global Trust Partners, a U.S.-based Christian organization. His involvement with organizations like Rural Development and Youth Association, World Vision Ghana, and Go Movement features prominently in numerous interventions across the country. Rev. Aho is married to Ramatu Bashiru and is a father of five.

Priscilla Ablah Aguh

Mrs. Priscilla Ablah Aguh is an experienced Christian educator and advocate for child development, boasting over a decade of expertise in early childhood education. She earned her degree from the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, and currently serves as the Proprietress of Dayspring Professional Institute. Her commitment lies in delivering a quality, child-centered education grounded in key values such as discipline, excellence, integrity, and care. Aguh firmly believes in the principle that no child should be left behind, which drives her promotion of holistic learning approaches aimed at nurturing all aspects of a child’s development—emotional, intellectual, and practical.
Under her guidance, Dayspring Professional Institute fosters an environment where learners are encouraged to grow into confident, disciplined, compassionate, and academically capable individuals, equipping them for lifelong success. Her efforts extend beyond student education; she actively engages in teacher mentorship, curriculum development, and collaboration with parents, solidifying her reputation as an influential leader in the field of education. Through her initiatives, Aguh has effectively contributed to creating a supportive and effective educational ecosystem focused on the comprehensive development of children.

SUAKA YAMBUAT DESMOND

Mr. Suaka Desmond is an experienced educationist and school administrator in Ghana, with over 20 years in private basic educational management. He founded D.S. Elites Academy in 2005 and is currently pursuing advanced studies in Educational Psychology, focusing on teaching and cognitive development. As General Secretary of the Coalition of Private Schools in Ghana (COPSIG), he advocates for policy improvements and collaboration among private institutions to enhance education quality. His role includes administrative coordination, curriculum implementation, and mentoring teachers to improve instruction. He organizes academic programs and promotes community engagement through Parent-Teacher Associations and School Management Committees. Mr. Desmond holds a Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Education, Winneba, and has completed multiple workshops in leadership and management, including a language certificate from the Ghana Institute of Linguistics, Literacy and Bible Translation. Born on April 10, 1977, he is married and actively contributes to Ghana’s educational environment.

Lucy Esi Ahiaxonu

Lucy Esi Ahiaxonu (Mrs) is a prominent Ghanaian businesswoman and education advocate, recognized for her unwavering commitment to community development and enhancement of private education in Ghana. Serving as a Board Member of the Coalition of Private Schools in Ghana, she actively contributes to initiatives focused on improving quality private education and child-centered programs. Born on January 7, 1973, in Ziope, Ghana, Lucy has built a commendable reputation for her hard work, leadership, and dedication to service over her career.
Her academic credentials include a Diploma, a General Business Certificate Examination (Senior) achieved in May 2011, and a Secondary School Certificate Examination earned in 1993. These educational achievements, combined with her extensive practical business experience, have significantly shaped her professional development and leadership capabilities.
As an entrepreneur, Lucy balances her business operations with her commitment to supporting educational and social development programs through her role in the Coalition of Private Schools in Ghana (COPSIG). She is ardently passionate about empowering communities and creating opportunities that enhance the welfare of children and families.
In her personal life, Lucy is married and has three children. She enjoys cooking and dancing, reflecting her warm personality and energetic lifestyle. Additionally, she serves as a deaconess at the Church of Pentecost, further illustrating her engagement in community service and leadership.
