The Conference of Private Schools in Ghana (COPSIG) has announced a major milestone in its nationwide educational and social impact efforts, revealing that the number of schools under its network has increased to over 12,000 across the country.

This remarkable growth reflects COPSIG’s continued commitment to strengthening private education in Ghana while advancing initiatives in education, health, sports, and empowerment.

As part of its recent activities, COPSIG also led a nationwide observance of Menstrual Hygiene Day, successfully educating more than 3 million students, parents, and community members on menstrual health and hygiene.

The campaign focused on breaking stigma, promoting proper menstrual hygiene practices, and encouraging open conversations around menstrual health in schools and communities. Through awareness programs, educational outreach, and stakeholder engagement, COPSIG reaffirmed its commitment to improving the wellbeing and confidence of young girls across Ghana.

Speaking on the achievement, officials of COPSIG emphasized that the organization remains dedicated to creating safe, informed, and empowering environments for students while supporting the growth and development of private schools nationwide.

The organization further called for stronger collaboration among educational institutions, health stakeholders, development partners, and policymakers to continue advancing student welfare and quality education throughout Ghana.
